Mariposa is butterfly in Spanish. Here in Colorado however, it is also the name of the beautiful baby girl I photographed last week. It may seem a bit cliche, but with Mariposa I just could not pass up the opportunity to make a portrait of her as a butterfly. So off we headed to the high alpine wild flower fields of Colorado. The Shoot was really fun and Mariposa was a real trooper flying through the shoot without a single complaint. Below are a few more shots.
