Chris Jordan on the Midway Project

If you have been following this blog for a while then you know I am a fan of Environmental Photographer Chris Jordan’s work. His current project is a documentation of the Pacific Garbage Patch’s effects on albatross chicks on Midway Island. I posted about this a while back. Albatros are picking up plastic garbage floating in the pacific and feeding it to their young, which in turn is killing them.

In the below video Chris Jordan speaks about the project, how he has been shooting the photos, and the environmental consequences of the Pacific Garbage Patch.
