I am in my last week of training and as a little get away we were all allowed to head to the beach for a day last Sunday. A two-hour drive and our group were at Kep, a small French colonial city founded in 1908. Kep’s main attraction is the 1,000 meter long black sand beach.
The waterfront market was the most interesting place for me however. You can watch women pull live crabs from the water and mill about through the rows of fresh prawns, squid, and fish. The market offers fantastic food and people watching.
