I’m spending my holiday with my family in Washington, DC. I’m not working … much. I managed to get out for fun and make this photo of the US Capitol building with a Christmas Tree.nnnnI have photographed the monuments of DC many times, and I really wanted to do something this time that was a bit different ,and hopefully captures a bit of the Christmas spirit. The most famous DC Christmas Tree is probably the one in front of the Whitehouse. Unfortunately you can barley see it past all the security fences and it was not lit up at 6:30 am.nnThis HDR image is made from 4 separate images bracketed in the twilight just before sunrise. Getting up early allowed me to capture this image with no people, something not easy to do in Washington DC.nnI hope you are having a fantastic holiday where ever you are. See you next year…
