A few months ago In one of my What’s Clickin’ newsletters, I posted a selection of some images I made of solar installations in my area. You can see on of these images on my Flickr site. Photographing the subject of renewable and alternative energy has become a recent theme for me. Tonight while browsing “The Frame”, the Photo Blog of the Sacramento Bee , I came across a photo gallery dedicated to this very topic.

It’s a collection of images by Getty Images photographer John Moore who documented work at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and at a neighboring business, Namaste Solar. I think there are a few really interesting images in this gallery. As I am discovering it is a challenge to present this topic in a creative way, but I think John Moore has done a good job of it.
