How to Subscribe to Rich Durnan’s Blog: What Are RSS Feeds?

So you like what you are reading on the Rich Durnan’s Blog and you want to know every time a now post is made so you don’t miss out on any of it. Then you need to subscribe to the Rich Durnan’s Blog feed.

There are several ways to do this. The hardest part is actually deciding which one to use.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication)

RSS is a format that allows websites and blogs like this to easily expose linked headlines to their readers. To get RSS feeds, you’ll first need an RSS reader, which allows you to automatically pull in fresh content from RSS feeds across the Web into a single application.

Two popular readers are Google Reader and My Yahoo. To instantly add the Rich Durnan’s Blog feed to your reader, simply click the “Subscribe in a reader” button below or the one in the side bar to the right and follow the instructions for your reader.

Some web browsers like Firefox and Safari allow you to add RSS feeds to them.

Firefox: Here is a tutorial on how to do this in Firefox by adding a live bookmark. If you have Firefox, look for the RSS icon in the address bar. Simply click on that to subscribe.
